Dan Elitzer, the Founder and President of the MIT Bitcoin Club, is a first year MBA Candidate at the MIT Sloan School of Management. Prior to attending MIT, Dan worked at Grameen Foundation, an international development organization focused on microfinance and mobile technology in developing countries. It was while at Grameen that he became interested in Bitcoin, largely for the opportunity it represents to expand access to new classes of financial services.
