Bill Flook covers IT, biotech and venture capital for the Washington Business Journal. As one of the WBJ’s two tech reporters, he spends most of his time writing about entrepreneurship and the startup scene. Bill joined the Business Journal in June 2010 after four years on the Virginia politics and government beat for the Washington Examiner, where he covered the Kaine and McDonnell administrations as well as local, state and federal elections. A 2004 graduate of Gettysburg College, he got his start in journalism at the Northern Virginia Daily in Front Royal, Va. His broadcast appearances include WTOP, WJLA, WRVA, WUSA9 and (once) the G. Gordon Liddy Show.
