Join us for this special keynote session by Rachel Cook, a previous Futures/Equities Trader who left that world to direct/produce The Microlending Film Project. The project is a global exploration of the impact of microloans on women, which was shot on four continents and premiered as the Feature Presentation at the Chicago International Film Festival. Filming in Nairobi and seeing the sophisticated text-message based money transfer infrastructure there led Cook to patent and launch Seeds, a social game for mobile microlending from the developed to the developing world.
