One of the Georgetown Entrepreneurship Initiative’s signature events is the annual Georgetown Entrepreneurship Day Conference. At this event students and alumni interact with world-class entrepreneurs, student entrepreneurs pitch business ideas, and the campus community celebrates entrepreneurial success. Event Highlights: •Career Panel Series: Panelists will discuss a diverse set of topics such as entrepreneurial first steps, startups when in school or after working for a large company, and how to join the entrepre neurial community without being a founder. •Keynote Speakers: Keynote speakers throughout the day will describe his or her journey with entrepreneurship. •Break Out Sessions: Small group sessions focused on International Entrepreneurship, Social Entrepreneurship, Non-Technology Entrepreneurship, Technology Entrepreneurship, and Finance Entrepreneurship. Groups will be lead by Georgetown’s very own Emerging Markets Group, Net-Impact Group, Gourmet Club and Sports Club, Technology Club, and Finance Club. •Rocket Pitch: A two-minute pitch made by aspiring student entrepreneurs. •Closing Reception: Interact and meet successful entrepreneurs including: student entrepreneurs, alumni entrepreneurs, panelists, speakers, and Hoya Challenge competitors.
